I need some guidance....

I'm new to the site and am planning on ordering chickens in the next week. I live in an urban/sub-urban area, but am lucky enough to have a decent amount of land. I need to know the best chickens for back yards that are friendly quiet pets, and are a high production large brown egg layer. There are so many mixed reviews. Thank you so much.

My White rocks are very Quiet! I ordered them from Ideal-poultry! They lay alot of eggs and are really friendly!
