I Need Some Hatching Tips!

Hi! I’m breeding my Crested and Pekin and I need some hatching tips, I know Pekins don’t usually naturally lay on there own eggs so if she doesn’t I’m going to use Incubator. My last incubating was epic fail. I washed off the protective layer on the eggs and they all got infected with mold. And my Incubator also sucked! If you would leave any hatching tips I would be great! I’m really hoping my Pekin will lay on the eggs but if not I’m gonna have to hatch them myself. Leave some tips down below please!

Don't wash the egg's.
Calibrate the temperature and humidity.
insulate the Bator if its walls are plastic. Wrap in towels and place in a box.
Make sure there's plenty of oxygen getting in so they don't suffocate.
