I need some help with the color of this girl please and breed of this boy

I just got this girl, and they didn't know anything about her. Can anyone tell me what color she is? I was at first thinking some type of mottled...What do you think?? TIA

Cool! I can get a black roo for her to get more splash, black and blues right? Or should I get another splash or a blue roo?

Heres the info as far as those colors go:
Blue X Blue = 50% Blue, 25% Black, 25% Splash
Blue X Black = 50% Blue, 50% Black
Blue X Splash = 50% Blue, 50% Splash
Black X Black = 100% Black
Splash X Splash = 100% Splash
Splash X Black = 100% Blue

I know breeding 2 splashes gets all splashes but they will get diluted in time and so less colorful. Just something to keep in mind when selecting a roo

Thanks! Good info to know! I'm still in the learning process as far as breeding goes. I might end up getting a blue roo then (I think I have a black Cochin bantam pullet...still really young, but looks like it is probably a girl)

I guess I should have included this guy in the title, but hindsight and all that jazz. lol I love his coloring, and his subtle checkered pattern. Anyone know what breed he is?
