If it were me I would be all kind and calm,but that dog would *disappear* one day. I would hate that dog and would hate having it around me after it killed a special pet. I love my dogs,but if they do something I can not overlook they are gone.

Sorry for your loss and the issues with the dog. I am glad to see your dh found a breeder. Hope you get one soon.Sounds like the dog needs a chainlink kennel,or the chickens need a more secure home.Hope dh will build that if he still wants the dog.
