I would feed it to the chickens outside .. My first thought was to just drop a couple of chickens into the feed storage barrel and let them clean out the bugs.. If they are free range chickens, what do you think they are eating?? If these bugs are eating the feed, I cannot imagine that they would be harmful to your chickens..
If you are going to dump the feed anyhow, dump it where the chickens can get to it.. I will bet they eat the bugs before the feed..
