I live in Central, MO and there's a hatchery in IA, about 280 miles away. I would like to buy 2 female Mallard ducklings from them and am willing to make the drive to get them since I don't want the Post Office involved, but I don't know if I can trust a hatchery to provide healthy babies.
My primary concern is that they have excellent genes and won't die in a few years.
Is there anyone on this site who sells these babies? Price is no object. I'd be happy to drive 300 - 350 miles and pay $100.00 (or more) per baby if anyone is out there.
