I Need To Find my 5 Year Old Hens A New Home (In Charlotte NC)

I'm looking for suggestions on how to find a new home for my two five year old hens. They are still both laying, but not consistently and at this point they are more pets than anything. A neighbor offered to have some local Montagnards come and humanely slaughter them for the stew pot but I'm balking at this option. Unfortunately my family is downsizing to a condo soon and so I need to find Puddin and Joy a new home. Puddin is a Buff Orpington and Joy is a Rhodie. I am in Charlotte NC. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Its pretty simple...you have pets....5yr old chickens are at the end of their egg laying cycle....so do as farmers do or keep them as pets...lastly the other alternative is don't move into the condo...or pay a friend to take care of them...my two cents....
