Okay! Also the first chick started pecking the other, so I separated them. They seem to be doing fine after I put them back together. Should I have done that?Fluff then brood. The added moisture of the eggs hatching will raise the humidity in the incubator too much to keep the little ones in there after they've fluffed.
I want to add: Don't be alarmed if there's a full day or more between first egg hatched and second or last egg to hatch. This is very common and nerve wracking.
Ok, wait, they can't see anything yet?They cannot really see each other yet, so no need to consider their pecks as hostile. Right now, they are exploring their world with the same tool that they've come to rely upon, their beak. No worries.
If you choose names NOW, be sure to make them unisex.
