I need to know what I'm doing wrong...

I have put the eggs in the incubator for 15 days now, since Feb 26. So far I've thrown away a total of 6 eggs out of 12 eggs. I've had 3 or 4 quitters and about 2-3 infertile or early death eggs. Can someone tell me the percent of hatch rate I will have and what I'm doing wrong? Please reply!

Where did you get the eggs from? Do you have two thermometers? What are they reading?
Humidity monitor?
The more info you give the easier it is to figure out what’s wrong.

How old and how were the eggs stored before being place into the incubator? Did you purchase these eggs and if so, how were they delivered to you? How old are the parents of these eggs? Where is the incubator itself located? Where in the world are you located? It sounds as if you've been candling them often, which would play havoc on temperature and humidity within the incubator each time it's opened for a few minutes or more, causing delayed hatching or death.
Adding details can help to narrow down the scope of possibilities.
You didn't specify what type of eggs and this website helps with all sorts of fowl and even four legged critters, but I'm going to assume you have chicken eggs. With that assumption in mind, You can expect some pipping and baby chicks in about a week, give or take a few days.

It can be tremendously frustrating to have hatching issues. My best recommendation is that you go through the hatching guides and read up on different hatching issues

I lost most of my first two or three hatches. There's a learning curve, and not all locations on the globe will require the same methodology. I live close to the equator and have VERY high ambient humidity. Following all of the guides for hatching, I was adding humidity to the incubator... so much so that the poor peeps drown in their shells. Don't be overly discouraged, sometimes it's just a matter of learning 'the basics', 'your equipment', 'your environment' etc. If at first you do not succeed, try again.

I have both temp and humidity thermometers in the incubator. They read 48% for humidity and 99.2 for temp.

They were stored pointy side down for 24 hrs and the website didn't tell me how old they were or how old their parents were. They were delivered by mail. Incubator is stored in the living room with room temperature. I have been candling them on day 7 and day 14 and day 16 (today). I have chicken eggs. Thanks for the help.

Yep! This is my first hatch, so I could still learn from it, thanks for the encouragement!
