I need to know what you got.

I have a bantam Friz from Ideal. Supposed to be Red but clearly is not completely red.
Well anyhow, I crossed her w/ a standard Delaware. I had a chick once before that I sold so I have no idea what it looks like now. At that time I also had a non frizzed hen that came with the Frizz's. So the chick could have been the non-friz and a Del.
Which ever's it was it looked like a Del. only smaller. Non frizzed.

So what I'd like to know is.......

1. Have you ever crossed a standard chicken with a bantam?
2. What did you get?
3. What breeds did you cross?
4. Have you ever crossed a Friz, standard or bantam, to a non frizzed , standard or bantam?

Do you have pics of your standard/bantam crosses?

No one has ever crossed a bantam w/ a standard?

I have but sold the chicks and eggs....so don't know what they looked like all grown up....

I crossed a Sebright with an Australorp once. The resulting chick was a black rooster with gold leakage.

I have bantam hens crossed with a standard roo, ask again in a few months and i'll let ya know what I got. They are about 2 weeks old

generally when you cross a bantam with a standard you get a larger bantam size bird. also it's recommended to cross frizzles to non frizzles or you get feathers that break off and you will get some frizzles and some straight feathers if I understand it correctly.
I've never done either but I have bought too many frizzle eggs that never hatched as frizzles.
