I need to know where to go...

I see a lot of advice on here to keep the humidity a little too low on the last 3 days. Crank the humidity in the last 3 days. Keep it around 60 until the last 3 days and then bring it up to 80.

Lock down is not as important as some would have you believe. Taking out chick is not going to kill the others. We have very high hatch rates.

We have even helped out chicks that get stuck.

The trick is getting the humidity that high, I can't get it up like that without a sponge, but the humidity pops right back up within minutes of opening the incubator to take chicks out.

i'm glad i saw tag's response. i've been flippin cause everyone says how they can't get their humidity high, when i just put my first batch into lockdown...the humidity has been 78-80 and i was afraid that was too high. of course, it's day 19 and no pips, so i'm in panic mode....but i'm praying at least something hatches.
