I need to purchase 1 or 2 easter eggers in northern WI, can't find anyone.

I'm doing this because I gave my rooster away and is lonely so I'm willing to buy atleast 1 hen to keep him company. I guy I gave him away to someone who had chickens a couple years ago until a fox/coyotes got them all, I helped him rebuild his fence and coup so that doesn't happen again/lower chances but now I would like to find him a hen or two in the area around the same age but no luck.

If its just about him having ladies why not just find decent laying hens of another breed to keep him company?

At this point any hen breed will work. So yes I'm looking for anything now.

Look on craigslist im not from your area but usually a decent amount of cull birds people are trying to get rid of this time of year for cheap.
