Last year 2 of my drakes (a Cayuago names Martin and a Khaki Campbell named Max) killed a baby goose. I have baby geese again this year and I have been keep the geese inside so that the drakes wont bother them. I let them all out yesterday morning and sure enough my Martin grabbed one of the babies and was shaking him. Luckily I got him away from the baby before anything else happened. I don't have any extra space to put them in until I divide my pasture up for my goats and I am going to move the ducks with them. Can I keep the drakes with my turkeys which are in a 20 x 20 chainlink dog kennel. Will they have any health issues to worry about, I know chickens and turkeys can't be together but what about turkeys and ducks. My only other alternative is to rehome him and I hate to do that. He is such a beautiful boy, but oh so not nice to my baby geese. And my broody geese is close to hatching out more goshlings so I hope someone can help.

Thanks
Lisa

My duck don't like my ducklings either. I was going to separate them with chicken wire inside the pen I now have until the babies get bigger. They don't need much space while there little, and my ducks free range during the day so they would have the whole pen to themselves. I have changed my mind though and now I'm going to extend on to the cage.

Mine free range and I just want to move the drakes since they are the trouble makers. I have 4 grown geese and they are very very protective with the babies. They have 2 with them now and I have 2 smaller ones inside and will move outside this weekend and then in a few weeks my broody goose should hatch the eggs she is sitting on.

Thanks
