I need your help

You have to be very careful when giving food or water to a chick through a dropper. It is very easy to get it down the wrong tube and aspirate them.
thank you but I stop giving it but it keep opening it mouth a little and it look like it has no force in it legs

We ordered a heat lamp it should be coming soon
try heating up some socks filled with rice like i said, 30 seconds
, cover the socks with other socks to avoid them being too hot for your chick and plop ur chick in the middle of two socks and cover him with a thin shirt maybe with his beak & nostrils popping out so he can breathe, when giving him water make sure you have ur chick standing up

It may not. It hasn't really had that great of a start. Chicks are fragile. They need the correct temperature of heat, feed and water always available, and to not be chilled. They also dont do well alone.

I’ve tried the sock thing but it smells horrible like I use clean socks and rice and when I take it out of the microwave it has a toxic smell

hmph i forgot to mention not to use any socks with any plastic like things, any rubber on it? sorry that didn’t work for you, i use cotton socks, what you could also do is heat up the rice separately, then pour it into the sock.

I promise that I don’t mean this in a harsh way, but in the future, it’s probably best to do your research and assemble all your needed materials before bringing a living thing into your care. I’m not sure the circumstances of your acquiring this chick—maybe it was an Easter present, maybe it was out of your control? But I promise that raising chicks is a more pleasant and rewarding experience when you’re prepared for it (and, I would argue, is an ethical responsibility as well).
