I never know what to say in these things..

Hi..
I'm 35, a happily married mom of two daughters. We live in Virginia and I just got my first chick(en)s.

I've wanted chickens for as long as I can remember..I've always just been smitten with them. We finally live somewhere that I can have them, so my husband was thoughtful enough to bring two home to me..and then I promptly went and got three more.

I'm not sure what I have..2 are supposed to be Frizzles, but I would gladly and enthusiastically welcome help with IDing them all(as soon as I figure out how to post pics). The total count at this point is 4, by the way..one of the original two I was brought had an extremely splayed leg and after a lot of trying to get it fixed, he finally had to be put down, which broke my heart.

I don't know what else to put in here..so..

I've been told you can fix splayed leg sometimes and crooked toes with pipe cleaners. You can make a boot for the toes and a splint for the leg. Hope it doesn't happen again , I know how it feels to loose a chick or chicken!
