It had to have happened this morning because it wasn't like that last night and the others hadn't started pecking it yet. I tried granulated sugar, that didn't work. Next I tried powdered sugar, which also didn't work. Next I tried honey and so far it seems to be staying in and it's been a few hours. I've been checking her every hour or so. When I first saw it I have her a warm Epsom salt bath. Then I spayed it with vetericyn. I'm only feeding her scrambled eggs for now and I crushed a tum up and mixed it in because that's all I have for now. I'm going to check it one more time before bed and hope it stays in. It's not really leaking much so that must be a good sign. I'm hoping I caught it in beginning stages and she'll be ok.How are you treating the prolapsed tissue? I lost a hen to prolapse a couple of years ago because I didn't catch it in time.![]()
