I noticed this now i feel the need for stress toys!

I noticed I don't have anxiety, I'm having panic attacks and would stress toys work to help with my attacks? Whenever it happens I can't breathe cus I'm crying so hard. I just need some help and info on how I can stop most of these problems 😪.
 
What are you stressed about?

Taking deep breaths and counting in your head ā€œIn two, three, four, *pause* out two three fourā€ (that’s what I learned in Biofeedback for helping with my anxiety) is helpful.

I also whenever I’m really upset just run to the coop and hug a chicken.

Im not sure if stress toys would help you, whenever I need to fidget I grab one and pull it, but that doesn’t seem so ā€œcan’t breathe because I’m upsetā€ it seems more ā€œI need to get extra energy outā€ (helpful especially in the car (but not when driving!) or any other place you can’t just get up and walk (say, like at school, or on a plane, etc)

I’m sorry you’ve been stressed.

If you can figure out what’s stressing you, that could help, then try to eliminate that factor.
 
Try whatever you feel might work, get a stress toy if it seems right!

Also scent can have effects that can help you. Is there a scent you find particularly lovely? I think peppermint oil is refreshingly strong and can focus my mind and then my body follows.

Also, I’ve practiced something I call the Wonder Woman pose. I go to a private place and stand like Wonder Woman. For like 30 secs to 2 min, depending on what time I have.

Also, there is no shame in seeking professional help.

You can do it online now. I’ve also found free counseling through community or school resources. Talking to someone can be very helpful in working through difficulties.
