I know the Nene? Geese are endangered species, don't know about Hawaiian ducks... Last time I went to Hawaii the island of Kauai was over run with chickens... Probably afraid that will happen with ducks, too, maybe?

And yes it's not only Kaui Pretty much all the islands are over run with Chickens But All of the local people Art really affected by them But a lot of the people who move here have a hard time Getting used to them

Actually the Nene is aren't Endangered We have a variation of a moscovy duck that isView attachment 1489394
