I ordered lots of chicks!

It is sad that the roos's are not as wanted. Ideal does not charge for the baby roo's but they assess a box fee on small orders. My order of 8 chicks came with 12 roo's. I dont know what to do.

Banks, If I lived closer to you I would buy them from you but you are a long ways away from me. Can't you either find someone who would take them or someone to sell them to? Worse come to worse you could raise them for the freezer. Sorry you got so many. I am going to pick up my order at Estes next Wednesday and I hope I get some extra's but won't hold my breath. How old do they have to be to go to freezer camp? Will they start crowing first?

Seems like about 4-5 months should be the age to go to freezer camp. Fatten them up first, LOL Not sure about the crowing first. Maybe someone else can answer that. Sorry.
