I Ordered My Chicks Yesterday!!

Got my order in to My Pet Chicken yesteday! 4 Dominiques, 4 Red Stars, and 2 Crested Polish. I kind of wanted Silkies, but they won't have them available until far later in the summer than we want to wait! They won't be shipping until later in May, but that gives us time to finish the coop and run. Time we may need if the weekends keep on as rainy as they have!! That puts a real crimp in our building schedule.

But, still- I have babies coming!!!

I ordered my chicks yesterday also! I'm so excited. This is my first time with chicks or chickens and I've been wanting to do this for at least a decade. I ordered a Bantam "Feather-Legged" assortment, which is any combination of Silkies, Frizzle Cochins, Brahmas, and Mille Fleurs.

My coop is being delivered this Saturday, found it on Craig's List. Things are finally starting to come together. This is most likely the closest thing I will ever get to motherhood, LOL!
