I played straight run roo-lette...

Good morning y'all!

I got my first 4 chicks Friday from my local TSC and am worried I scored a hand full of roo's. The two lighter ones were sold to me as sexed Amerucanas pulleys, but the darker two were labeled as straight run silver laced wyandottes. I have read so many articles about using feathers to sex that I have gotten myself absolutely confused! I am not certain the age, as the young boy that sold them to me had no clue of their hatch date. However someone told me on here yesterday that they most likely hatched Monday or Wednesday of last week since I got them friday. Can anyone help me with the sex and breed of these fluff nuggets? I am going to upload as many pics as I can. If I need to take more from different angles let me know! TIA

Feather sexing only works for birds bred for that trait and not many are. The black and white chicks do look like silver laced Wyandottes. They can't be sexed until 8 weeks old or so. The lighter chicks aren't Ameraucanas-- wrong leg color. There's a chance that they're Easter eggers, but I doubt that too. More likely they are red sex links, and if so, then they are likely pullets.

Just curious, what color are the legs of a true Amerucana?
