I am going to put the BO eggs in the incubator tomorrow night. I bought a PC fan today and I am not sure if I bought the right one. Here is a link to what this fan looks like and a little bit of info on it. http://www.jr.com/antec/pe/ANT_75020/#productTabDetails
If
this is the right kind of fan if so how do I wire it up?

Thanks alot,
RooptyDoo

I'm not sure because I've always had silkies but I hope someone gives you a hand. I would think you would use a special incubator fan but I could definitely be wrong. Good luck!

I would think you should get a 12 volt adapter and snip off the end of the wire (where it connects into an electrical device). From there, connect the two wires.

Check out Miss Prissy's incubator post for a better description.

My meager experience....in other words, did the research, bought the fan, had the adaptor and never wired it...gave it to Redhen to put in her still-airs

BUt, look at the fan. Check out the fan and see what the requirements are. Right on it, it'll say something like "12v and .08A" So you know the adaptr you use has to be a 12v and the amps needs to be .08 or higher. The wiring is supposed to be easy...and if it's wrong, it either won't work or will work backwards.

Hope that helps!
