I ordered some call duck eggs off Ebay this weekend....they arrived today in the mail safe and sound....not one broken and two extra! I was a bit surprised... not to sure what I was expecting but they are the same size of my Wellsummers eggs... just a bit skinner. And they are white and I have one that is a really pretty green... I am excited to be able to candle therm.

Is there any thing different I should do when I put them in the incubator than I did with the chicken eggs???

not sure about calls but I kept my pekins at about 45-50% humidity.

Make sure you rest them first with little end down and leave the turner off for a few days to help out with detached air cells.

Good luck and keep us informed.

Thank you for the reply. I will do just that....they are going in the incubator on tonight. Is there any thing different at lock down that you do... how high should the humidity go then. What does a detached air cell look like....I have one egg that is questionable it looks to have some type of air bubble in it. I can see it right thru the eggs shell as I move the egg.
