I recommend the Eglu!

Hi there. I am looking for a coop so my kids can grow up loving and caring for animals and the Eglu seems to be the perfect choice.

Can you tell me where did you buy it? I live in West Los Angeles.

Thank you.

You have to go tp their website and order. They ship from England.

They are very cute and easy to clean, but now that I've had my girls for awhile I wouldn't do it again. first, chickens like to roost above their nest. They can't do it in the eglu and tend to sleep in the nest. (Not a bad thing, but you do have to clean it out everyday.) Chickens do like to sleep close together, but it was still too small for my three. And last, mine ended up leaking. I'm sure it doesn't usually happen, but bottom line was I spent lots of money on a coop that leaks.

Ours stands on a 3 x 3 frame with a ladder coming out to an outdoor run. The omlet website has a forum with just photos to give ideas. They are sturdy, but not entirely predator proof. Depends on the predators in your area.

i have 4 bantam sized hens in my eglu go. I also have the run and 1 extension to the run. You can buy this coop from mypetchicken.com. It does come unassembled but the directions are good. The Go is terrific for suburban folks like me with limited property. It is easy to clean and is totally predator proof.
