I had a hen than kept *booting* out an egg, it was 2 feet away from her ( I was like, "how in the heck.") I just kept putting it back under her. She is way smarter than me with this as it didn't hatch and when I opened it, it was just a regular yolk with no development.
Little chicken brains doesn't mean little smarts.
We are all humans and we make mistakes. I thought your descriptions were funny and took it in the spirit that it was posted in. I have done many things in my life that the second after I did it, I was like "Duh, shouldn't have done that" LOL that's how we learn, those are the moment's in life that make life interesting. My husband and I were laughing the other night when he said, " did you ever notice that some of the best moments in life follow the word OOPS." Yup, OOPS!
I hope your little baby hatches, but if it doesn't then maybe it is because the hen knew better, and I seriously don't think that rolling it like a bowling bowl at top speed isn't gonna make one whit of a difference.
At the very least, this experience has shown you who your friends are.
