I saw a cool-looking group of cows the other day!!!

They are beef cattle. He had a young (2-years-old) bull that was the sweetest animal! I loved him! On the other hand, he had a cow that was the MEANEST! Only time I have ever been charged was from her! SCARY!

Belted galloways are on my "Must have" for the farm, along with highlands.

With where you live, you may have seen BUELINGOS - a newer beef breed developed by an ND rancher and NDSU state . Buelingos are crosses between angus, limouson, galloway, and a few other minor breeds. They are great mama cows with high weaning weights, an lean marbled tasy beef.
We moved to VA from IOWA a few years ago and brought a small herd of Buelingos to va. Great cattle

Oreo Cookie Cows! LOL That's what we always called the belted breeds. They are cool looking cows.
