I think you will need to breed her to a black and then breed the offspring back to her and that should produce more mottleds, But I am not exactly sure I am correct,

All my mottled Orps have gold eyes. I think that is the standard in breeding mottles. I believe Matt is correct in saying breed to black which would produce black chicks carrying the mottled gene then breed the mottled gene carriers together or back to mottled parent.
Hope your project turns out well. I think mottled silkies would be fabulous

I have never heard of any connection between light eyes and Mo? I do know that with new colors it takes a while to set the dark eyes required for silkies.

Also that is exactly how it works when breeding mottles. If you have a splash cockerel and breed him with her then you can get blue mottles in the f2.

Breed her with a black then breed her offspring back to her and you should get 50% mottled, 50% het mottled.
