I have nine copper black marans, six blue black splash marans hens, six mottled cochin, six mottled mille x pullets, and five barred bearded project pullets, and a dozen assorted cochin/silkie/turke/game hens/pullets.

I plan on breeding a bunch of culls in my persuit of certain traits this year.

Right now the only birds laying are my BBS marans. I take that back, my BS marans (black hens are not laying. I get usually four eggs a day from them. Then there is my beauty, Morticia, the brown red turken, a game mix broody prospect and some partridge bantam cochins and silkies in with a mottled banty cochin roo... slim pickins right now.
