I screwed up big time

Ok so I miss read my calendar. I thought my eggs where supposed to hatch this past Tuesday but they are actually supposed to hatch this up coming Tuesday! So on wendsday or Thursday I quit turning the eggs. I just now realized my mistake, so that means I quit turning the eggs 3-4 days too early. I have one chick pipping now, should I expect any to make it because of my mistake?

Id say pipping now = good sign the oversight was possibly inconsequential.

With chicken eggs, a few studies show that failing to turn after day 14 does not harm your chances of hatching the eggs. I expect it's similar with turkey eggs. I'd be more worried about your extended lockdown humidity, honestly.

Ok good, so honestly I kept the humidity at 50 and never going over 60 until today, and that’s what I usually keep the eggs at during the first 18 days and have great success. So with today being the first day of the real lock down and I uped the humid up I’m thinking that everything will be ok thank god!

Yes! This exactly. I actually stop turning eggs a couple days early because I find that when I wait until 3 days before hatch I get malpositioned chicks since mine hatch early. So I wouldn’t worry about not turning. The most important days for turning are 2-8, so you should be fine there. Did you candle the eggs to see if the aircell grew big enough?

Ok good! I candled some of them but not all of them. I just got home and one has hatched already, and another is pipping, so with today only being day 20 I guess that’s a good sign!
