On sept 8th I set 21 eggs in the home made bator. I candled today I have 10 with healthy chicks 1 egg got broke waaaaaaa. 1 egg showed blood ring and when i cracked it open the yolk was scrambled. the other 9 were not fertile. so I guess I should say I set 12 fertile eggs to hatch.

so i now have 14 days left to go and 10 eggs going. I think I may lose another egg. To me it looks like the yolk is scrambled, but I still see the baby. No movement coming from it yet, but lots of blood vessels so I will leave it and re-candle it in a few days.

If 9 hatch out wooohooo that would be a 75% hatch rate. Not too bad for a first time hatch in a home made bator.
