Whether I'd like to let my two broody girls sit and raise chicks or break them.

Cordon here, is the one who sat so firmly as a serial broody last spring. She's a Blue Australorp who went broody without being vicious when I robbed her of eggs.

Mocha is a 7-month Mottled Java pullet. She's the one who bit me so viciously the other day.

Heck, I'd be tempted to let Mocha sit just for your own safety.

They are beautiful hens!

Mama hens are the best! I'd love to let my girls hatch their eggs, but no more boys for me!
