Right now my irds are free ranging it. I woulod like to fence them in so they are not all over the place. How high should my fence be? Also how many feet of space for each bird in the run/fenced in area?

A minimum of 10 sf per bird in a run, but more is better.
Fence height? I guess it depends on the birds. Mine don't go over a 4-5 foot fence. But many people have posted that their birds go over 6 foot fences.
Can you cover?

Consider a pvc pen like mine. They can still fly & u don't have to worry about them. I move every couple of days and don't have to worry about cleaning it. Whatever works for u.

If you make it narrow enough you can put bird netting over top and have it safe from flying preds and not worry about the birds escaping. Just make it tall enough for you to walk upright lol.
The reason that I suggest narrow is for your convenience...(no need for support in the middle or a roof);
A quick fix really.
