And there I bought the tiniest chicken I have ever seen!!

In my defense my boys talked me into it

The other chicks are two black australorp pullets and the black is a bantam.

The sign said "Assorted clean-legged bantams" which is funny since the black has feathered legs as did some of the others.

They told us they were one week old. They look like ours we hatched looked at a week.

We have eight seven-wk-olds but only four are girls as far as we can tell. I needed a couple more pullets.

But, when I looked into that trough full of bantams I was a goner

My kids just gave me an excuse. Truthfully though I may have talked myself out of it without it

the little one kinda looks like a buff orphington. Looks identical to the 4 we got last week. I can't wait to get some austrolorps!! I've got everything pretty much but! Love your brooder set up!
