Oh My Gosh!!!! You are right!!!! While so many have waaayyyy more posts than me, I am feeling reflective!

In 3000 posts, I have shared a year with the fabulous BYCers. In that year, I have shared my my new love of fluffy-butts, the travails of building my coop, swelled with pride at their first egg, debated the merits of feed, had the opportunity to kick-start a Chickenstock, fretted over a sick chicken, cried when she died, (and cried when Kate's Nugget died.) I helped some other members with their own tragedies, and got all excited over ordering new chicks. In addition to all the chicken-related seriousness, there has been such fun! I have laughed at Beaker's antics, and hosted the little bugger. I joined the BYC Castle thread, and made some very cherished friends there, and met quite a few BYCers in person. I have marvelled at the immense scope of the talents and compassion of the members here. I've typed like a mad-woman during trivia contests, and realized that no one types as fast as debiraymond or knows quite as much as dlhunicorn! I've even had my 2010 calendar delivered by Nifty himself!

Such a great community! I'm really glad I found this place!
