HAHA Love it sounds like me I live on my own but still my mom told me only four. So I got 4 the first week then 6 the next week and then a couple days ago I went to Big R to get supplies well sure enough I brought home two more so now its 12 lol. Hope my mom cant count.

well I'm sure your mom didn't say Four for the rest of your life. So there's your loop hole. Four today, ten tomorrow, etc. Sounds good to me.

I told my husband two years ago I was ordering 12 chicks. Well, when I got there, I couldn't stop myself from adding 2 chicks. Hubby never batted an eye. I didn't realize this was called chicken math at the time! Perhaps he won't notice!

In the end you will tell him and he will just roll his eyes. Or at least thats what mine does. Aussies are great I have 2 they are calm friendly birds that lay great and right now one of mine is broody she is setting 7 eggs. Her and my first time. She looks like a chicken blanket setting on those eggs. This wont be your last time sneaking some extras in.

You guys have given me a great idea! I have an order coming this week and wished I'd added a couple more. Since I'll be picking up the girls from the post office, I can stop by the feed mill and grab a couple babies, sneak them into the shipping box, and feign surprise when I get home! You guys are the best!!

I had already planed to do this...with 50 coming who will notice a few extras!

I just got 6 chicks um....yesterday. Since hubby has only humored me by looking them over the first day I'm thinking maybe he won't notice if I pick up a few more at TSC?
