I survived their first night out in the coop!

Woke up this morning and went out to the coop and everything was fine. The girls looked at us quizically when we opened the chicken door so they could go out to the run. But by the time I came back from getting a snack to entice them out they were all outside chirping away.

This is almost as bad as kids! It was like I let them go for their first sleepover!

I've done it! The first time I pitched a tent and slept out their with them

!!!! Even took one of the house dogs to keep me warm!

mine still have a few weeks yet, but i am going to be out there checking on them all nite hehe, i like the tent idea hehe

My DH thought I was crazy because I wanted them to have a light in there. I did find a very low level LED flashlight.

What was funny is that when I brought the little ones out for a bit the girls in the coop were sooooo glad to see them. They go out over the weekend.

Its going to be lonely in the house soon...... no more little peeps.
