I suspect my sexed EE pullet is a roo

I have a 8 week old EE which I am thinking is a boy after all. Since I can’t have roos I need to rehome. Before I do so I want to be sure.

8 weeks old ? I am afraid that he is a cockerel. Have a 'Plan B' in mind, but wait a bit before relocating him just to make sure.

I believe it's a little roo; if I remember, EE roos have 3 rows of peas in their comb, and pullets have 1. Plus it's really red for a chicken that young. That's too bad. But with Covid craziness people are actually paying money for roosters so I'm sure you can find him a good spot with a flock of his own.

Gads, she's sure mature looking for 6 weeks! Maybe she's just precocious. I'd wait until "she" crows, just to be sure.

That looks like a cockerel to me too. I had the same thing happen to me! I got two sexed EE,s from the feed store and ended up with a boy and a girl.
