I swear my chicken just pooped out an earthworm

but that doesn't make sense! She squatted as if to poop and out plopped an earthworm. that isn't possible, right? if they ate a worm it wouldn't come out their behind. I'm trying to figure it out how the worm did that. could she have sat on an earthworm and then it went plop? LOL LOL

I'm all sorts of confused on what just happened. LOL it is an earthworm. I swear!

Sounds like a tape worm. They are quite large. Sometimes they come out segmented. Has she been wormed lately?

no, they haven't been wormed since last spring. but it doesn't look like a tapeworm picture. it looks just like an earthworm. the closest thing I can find is the gapeworm pictures.

Not sure where you live. Local climate has an effect on the worm population, but I worm twice per year...spring and fall. Hate those parasites!!
