I tell them to SIT & Stay & no one listens!

A new human Mother Hen here...when I tell them to sit they OGLE me...when I tell them to stay they try and fly at
4 weeks old and when I ask nicely are you hens or roos? NO one answers me. Stubborn little babies. Humm seems
that get that trait from me. All kidding aside do I need to put a fan in the coup when it really starts to get hot soon?
And if not will they still love me in the morning?
Oh and Happy Mothers to all who are and even if your babies are just chicks!

Oh my, no laughing. I have no idea what I have other then a white (but she looks yellow still or creamish) and a black silkie.
I just asked for some chicks that were good egg layers and friendly. How stupid am I? I hope as they get bigger that maybe
I can compare them to pictures on here. And hopefully they are all hens.
Oh we are in Jerome, Idaho and it is not HOT here yet but summer days can be 90's.

Awe you are not stupid, do not even think it! I do not have silkies, so I can not say one way or another. I would say adding some containers with shallow water for them to stand/sit in would be good. Mine love them! Just be careful not to make them too deep. You do not want them to drown. Plenty of shade, and plenty of room to scratch down into the dirt should be enough.
