I thin k I've finally had enough.

I guess it depends on the age of the children but in my house I always try not to fib to my children. Well 2 are grown and now we just have the 7 year old and we too just recently had to get rid of an aggressive roo. I simply explained to her that in every home we have to make decisions that are best for everyone and the roo didn't fit into that guideline. It was a sad day and I allowed her to draw some pictures that went with the roo to his new home. It did make her feel better.

It is hard however to find a new home for a rooster.

I'd get rid of him before he hurts a kid. Rooster talons and spurs are nasty dirty things and can do a lot of dmaage that will get infected easily. My husband thought his super aggressive tiny bantam roo was funy until it flew up and sliced open his scalp. If it had hit him in the face it was ould have been terrible. The roo made a nice single serving pot pie.

Explain to your son that its unaceptable/unfair to his sisters to keep an animal they are uncomfortable with because of aggresive behavior.... at the same time explain to him he gets to go pick out a new roo from the roo bin at TSC! Problem solved everyone is happy- I would be anyway

DON"T LIE TO YOUR KIDS!!! If they find out, they will have been taught that lying is OK. Next you can teach them to cheat and steal. Great parenting folks.

I forgot to mention that lady feathers has the right idea.
