I think an owl grabbed one of our guineas

I couldn't get one of the guineas in last nite, heard a commotion late. Went out to find nothing but feathers. Early this morning the geese and remaining guineas were very vocal, they were welcoming the wayward one. She must have put up one good fight. She was bleeding under her wings, one side has some skin torn, other side a couple of small holes. She has medicine on her wounds and seems to be doing ok.
I have read so many of y'alls posts of predators getting your birds I really feel for you....we do get attatched.

Wow! Your girl had quite a night. That's what she gets for trying to stay out all night. I hope she recovers from her adventures. Be aware that whatever made a try for her will likely be waiting for a second chance tonight.
