My new flock (Left my laying flock at the folks when I moved to the city) of banties is 5 weeks old. I let them out for supervised play this evening and Romeo my, I think, Silver Laced Cochin cockerel jumped up on my lap to be petted, he sat there peeping lovingly and snuggling and turning happy cirlces until it got dark and I shooed everyone in the coop for the night ^_^ totally surprised me, though he pushes everyone out of the way to be petted when they are on the ground. Mary Ann, one of my Buff Black Tailed Japanse, got jealous and flew from the ground to my head. Such silly babies
