Today we just finished our coop+run and the chicks are moving out tomorrow

I wish I had the time to raise them from chicks. Maybe I will look for a hen with chicks.

I have a 4x6 coop with 5 nesting spots. Figure I can comfortably go up to 10

If I knew that I didn’t need all that space I would have built it smaller lol. I went way overboard

This thread is getting seriously off topic. Notice the white in their tails; that is more typical of an ISA brown. Rhode Island Reds will not have such white unless they come from bad stock.

The coop should have 4 square feet per bird, run 10 square feet. So 6x2 is not very good for 6 hens.
