You know what I really miss though? The Carol Burnett show... and shows like it that were fun for the entire family.

My grandson got his photo with Santa yesterday and my friend said he looked like Beaver off of Leave it to Beaver! I have to agree but his mom dont remember the show! Now I am old!

I loved the Carol Burnett Show. Now I am going to sound old too and say, why can't they make tv shows like that anymore?

How about The Barney Miller Show? I used to love that show, and In The Heat of the Night with Carroll O'Connor, my father and I used to watch those together.

Don't forget SEA HUNT! I decided I'd scuba dive when I grew up just because of that show....and I DID!

Whatever happened to the REAL HEROES? The ones who were worth following, the ones who shaped our dreams and hopes?

I miss the time when there was a clear difference between right and wrong....and everybody knew where those boundaries were.
Movies had happy endings, heroes valued honor more than money, romance was sweet not tawdry, families were the basis of our lives and morals were not optional.

I think the present generation has lost a great deal and doesn't even know it.

That's funny! I was watching that show....what's it called with Hugh Heffner and his girl friends.....the twins wanted to have a 70's party but didn't know anything about the 70's. They're like, "We were born in 1989! What do we know???"


AND THEY"RE 20 YEARS OLD ALREADY!

Now I'm feeling old too!
