Hello,
My name is Jeff, and I am new to chickens. I recently brought home six chicks of various breeds from tractor supply. I have two barred rock, a white leghorn, a midnight Moran, and two others of which I cannot recall their breed.
They were all supposed to be sexed as female, but I was warned of the possibility that there may be a males that were inaccurately identified as a female. And I think that may be the case with one of my barred rock chickens. It’s lighter in color, has a considerably more pronounced comb and waddle, and I think I’m seeing the beginnings of spurs. Please let me know what you think.
