Here is our 10 week old Sapphire gem with our 9 week old Wyandotte.
Pretty stark difference in combs.
From my limited knowledge I’d call it a cockerel.

It does seem like a roo... but it’s got a pretty small comb & wattles. For comparison, this is our roo at about 10-12 weeks. You could never mistake him for a pullet .
