We have five RIR chicks, 9 weeks old. We bought them at 5 weeks. One is so much bigger than the others, has her/his head up, looking out above the rest when they're out in the chicken yard, and I wonder... We have always bought pullets so these are the first chicks we've raised. How soon can we tell if Maureen is a roo and what would be the difference between him and the others? They are beautiful, I might add!
