OK!!! Thanks for being patient with my brain dead self. I think my brain is frozen. It was 4F when I went to work this morning! Ever try saddling a bunch of horses when you can't feel your fingers?

What a cute little Silkie.

Can totally sympathize w/you on saddling up when it's cold (although it's been awhile). Also, don't you love it when you go to dismount, and your horse moves half a step at the last second so you land flat-footed on your poor frozen feet? Feels like they're going to break into a million pieces!

So much fun trying to pry your fingers loose from the reins after a couple hours on the trail! Worse, I had to do 2 2-hour rides in a row (about 5 mins between) and I had to ride one of the drafts, cuz my horse was missing a shoe. Talk about a long step down! And have you ever tried to get your knee up near your chin while wearing 2 sets of longjohns under your jeans?
