Hold her over the sink and wipe her with a wet, warm cloth, just make sure she's not soaking wet when she goes back. Replace all the bedding. Use hot water on a clean paper towel and damp wipe the eggs, at the very least. I had to wash my hens, not something you really want to do but if you've ever seen how egg yolk will grow bacteria in a moist environment, that may influence how you do it. Just wipe away from the egg, not pushing into the pores of the egg, if you get what I mean.

Bell, still on the nest .

She off the nest for about 12min. on her on today .She limping ,may be sitting on the nest to long ?. I ck the 7 eggs for any cracks and to change nest box for a clean one. Think this is the 11th day?
