Okay... here are my two adult hens.

I am pretty sure this one (Pearl) is a barred rock... (sorry it's kinda fuzzy)

but I'm not so sure about THIS one (Blondie)... I'm thinking either buff rock or buff orpington.

Great, thanks! I was thinking orpington, but couldn't find any actual photos online... just drawings.

Hmmmm.... so if this in a buff orpington... I'm VERRRRRRRY suspicious of my black orpington pullet (being a cockerel) as her waddle/crown are pretty pronounced and this adult's is not. Anyone who hasn't done so already... want to head over to "raising baby chicks" and check out the pics of my babes and let me know what ya think?? I think I have a cockerel on my hands (which is not good!)... but so far have mixed opinions.

Isn't she!!!! I was SO amazed when I got her. They were my first chickens and I had NO idea they could be so beautiful!! Plus they're both really friendly... follow me around like dogs. They come running (the BO usually goes full throttle too!) when they see me, thinking the ONLY reason I could POSSIBLY be in the back yard is to hand out treats. LOL
